Much has been said and written about menstruation and these sites have it all, yet avoiding advertising clichés. Everything a lady has to know about turning her period into nice, ordinary days is here, together with the necessary products.

We have discretely worked to let this spring of feminine knowledge flow... "Help me choose" is an interactive form, allowing ladies to find out which particular product is right for them. An interactive period calendar, a function also existing on the Being Girl sites, has been designed to inform ladies when their next period begins.

These websites also contain an extensive section of questions and answers, related to the use of tampons and feminine health issues. For the US/Canada locale we have developed a special function, "Ask Iris", a form which allows visitors to send their own personal questions to the Procter & Gamble experts in the field.

Technical solutions

We have cultivated our own art of creating different language locales and this time, according to the customer's requests, we went for 11 websites. Starting from the original matrix of UK&US Tampax websites, we have developed Tampax Belgium (available in French and Dutch), Tampax Finland, Tampax French, Tampax Ireland, Tampax Netherlands, and Tampax Switzerland (French and German versions)

Take a completely re-written PHP code, combine it with a MySQL data base, and you get a safe technical platform which easily allows maintenance work. This is how we did it! To separate the PHP coding from the design provided by Arc, we have used Smarty, in the well established manner we proceed in, when developing locales.
