We are aware of the fact that "Case Studies" should enlighten people and not confuse them even more! But there is no confusion here. We all know that while an organization gets bigger, problems such as the sacred temptation of routine, the dusty wind of inertia or even the all feared lack of creativity might raise their ugly little heads.

A .NET intranet application such as "Toybox", connected to an internal authorization application, using a SQL database and running on IIS server, will encourage, protect and even shelter creativity. We're talking about a screening system, adapted from an existing P&G application, with the exact aim of offering the corporate employees a place to post their promising commercial ideas. "Toybox" runs as a fully searchable ideas data base, operated by different search criteria, designed to support use across various countries, assuring synchronization with other P&G systems.

The "Toybox" cost saving database was initiated as a project, coming through 3rdEye, an independent new media company. The design was built "in house" by CamelWeb Creations. As time went by, juicy ideas started filling the box, and thanks to our programmers, the end user was provided with management links, enhancing the overall functionality of the system.
